Our Three Purposes

Awareness

"the world's deadliest conflict since WWII"
"the worst place on earth to be a woman"
"has thus far cost the lives of over 5 million people"
 About Congo

Political Advocacy

“We are calling Christians to address the distinctive problem of
violence that lies beneath so much of the suffering of the poor...
and seek justice on their behalf."  (Gary Haugen, IJM)

Take Action!

Welcome!

Welcome to Arise for Congo! We are a community dedicated to building awareness of events in the DRC, pursuing advocacy, and connecting individuals and organizations.

Check our Take Action tab often; we'll update it regularly with advocacy actions to join. Watch some of the videos to learn more about Congo.

We neither solicit nor accept donations. We only ask you to help spread the news about Congo ("likes" of this website are the simplest way) and to frequently take a few minutes to participate in advocacy actions--it can make a tremendous difference!
